Ms. Greenhalgh worked as a reporter, covering Frederick
County, for The Winchester Star. She previously worked for The Fauquier Citizen
and The Fauquier Times-Democrat. She had covered equestrian sports as a
freelance photographer and reporter for The Washington Post, The Chronicle of
the Horse and other specialty publications.
Survivors include her mother, Sara Lee Greenhalgh of
Poolesville, Md.; a sister, Katherine Kent Langton of Santa Fe, N.M., and her
cousins, Robie L. Cone Jr. of Chester Springs, Pa., James H. Price III of
Richmond, Lee M. Price of Ophelia, and George P. Greenhalgh III of Millwood.
She was predeceased by her father, William Walbridge
Greenhalgh.
