COMMONWEALTH TURF FESTIVAL AND 2011 VA-BRED CHAMPIONSHIPS THIS FRIDAY

On Friday, July 27, the next-to-last day of the 2012 live meet, Colonial Downs will host the Commonwealth Turf Festival consisting of five Virginia-bred stakes races while the VTA honors the 2011 Virginia-bred champions during ceremonies in the winner’s circle between races.


The five Virginia-bred stakes are:
The Oakley Stakes Presented by Morgan’s Ford Farm
The Daniel G. Van Clief Stakes Presented by the Virginia Horse Industry Board
The Bert Allen Stakes Presented by the Middleburg Training Center
The Brookmeade Stakes Presented by TracksideOnRadio.com
The Jamestown Stakes Presented by Horseshoe Hill Farm
