BELMONT GRANDSTAND FULL DESPITE DEFECTION

The loss of the Triple Crown hopeful certainly deterred the Belmont Stakes crowd on Saturday afternoon.  Track officials through late afternoon had difficulty determining the crowd size with estimates as low as 50,000 ranging to a high of 90,000.  With the timing of the scratch of I'll Have Another, many racegoers has already made plans to attend the last leg of the Triple Crown.
