TEN PERCENT BREEDERS BONUS FOR CLN 2010

Checks will be mailed tomorrow to breeders who produced horses that finished in the top four in open races at the recently completed Colonial Downs meet.

A new experimental provision in the Virginia Breeders Fund pays the breeder 10% of the current 60% bonus paid to the owners of Virginia-breds. Those checks have been processed and will be mailed on Thursday, August 19, 2010.

Mrs. C. Oliver Iselin III of Wolver Hill Farm in Middleburg topped the list with $4,974.36 in earnings. Audley Farm was a close second with $4,248.96.
