TWIN TURF NOMS OUT – You never get the pick of the litter out of the nomination list, but is this year's roster is an indicator, Colonial's Twin Turf races will have outstanding fields. Thanks to a Triple Crown prep season that saw many turf winners seek the Derby starting gate, there are many familiar names on the list. Derby starters Make Music For Me, Stately Victor, Line of David, Dean's Kitten and Paddy O' Prado have turf experience and are nominated.The nominations also include turf standouts Nordic Truce, Workin For Hops, Beau Croix, Doubles Partner, Dream Nettie and Thunder Brew. Other notables include Lentenor, (this year's full brother of Barbaro nominee) , Exhi, Asphalt and Virginia-breds Two Notch Road and Outlaw.
