NATIONAL GALLOP. Horses race in the historic Heroes Square in Budapest June 1, 2009. Hungary holds a national horse race called the "National Gallop" with almost 100 towns and villages participating. The National Gallop is a historical horse race and festival between Hungarian cities to revive the national tradition of horse riding and to keep the world-famous Hussar traditions alive.
