Photographer Douglas Lees of Warrenton, Virginia knows his way around a camera and a racecourse. His images have appeared in countless publications over the years and his keen eye and knowledge of the racing game have landed him two Eclipse Awards.Lees kindly supplies the VTA with images from the events he photographs, and we felt compelled to share the wonderful photos he took Saturday of Virginia-bred Salmo winning his second Virginia Gold Cup over timber.
